Regular Session Details
Whether you're looking to update your family portrait, capture the last days of your pregnancy, announce your engagement, remember your child's high school year, or have someone chase down your toddler, look no further!
Planning Your Session
Before we get into locations or outfits, we need to know what you plan to do with your portraits. Gifts? Wall portraits? Canvases? Answering these questions will help us better plan your session. For assistance, please use the portrait planning guide.
Liz is able to suggest locations for shoots, but if you have a special place in mind, she is able to travel within reason in the Upstate. There may be an additional charge for some locations. (Sessions generally last 1 hour.)
What to Wear
I know this decision can be stressful. DON'T LET IT BE!!! Today, anything goes. Long gone are the days of everyone matching in white shirts and khaki pants. It's just important that the clothes don't distract from the subjects. Dark clothing tends to minimize body size, and long sleeves tend to look best for adults and older children. Remember that in the fall darker clothes are appropriate and lighter clothes in the spring.
Now for the shoes... No shoes are best when it comes to little kids. Once seated, all you see are the soles, which can be a huge distraction. Liz prefers bare piggies!
For additional help in choosing outfits, Pinterest offers great ideas.
YES... I DO SELL DIGITAL FILES!!! My goal, though, is for you to have these portraits on the walls of your home, always visible. Always able to be cherished. I know first-handed how busy life can be. That's why I want you to leave here--portraits in hand--so a year from now your portraits are not just on your computer but beautifully displayed on your wall.
When Liz sets up your photography session, she will also work with you to set up a time for you to view your portraits. At this appointment, please be ready to make ALL purchasing decisions. Make sure to bring all family members that will help guide you in the decision process. Please come prepared with the sizes needed and all gifts you will want to purchase.
